Richard Weyler, MD

Dr. Weyler is board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and General Psychiatry. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Biology with a concentration in Molecular biology and participated in neurobiological research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, where he earned high honors in psychiatry. He completed his residency in General Psychiatry at Temple University Hospital, where he did research on protective factors in adolescent substance abuse. Dr. Weyler completed his fellowship training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where he did research on pediatric obesity and served as co-chief fellow. Since graduating fellowship, Dr. Weyler has worked with children and adolescents in the juvenile justice system, has served as Chief Medical Officer of psychiatric hospital with a special interest in treating children with autism spectrum disorder.
